The first moment I met Marty, which was at the Scottish Rite Cathedral Bridal Show he stood out. I remember him vividly as he truly took the time with each interested candidate to get to know you on a personal level and answer any question you may have. He has a passion for his work and for people that is honest and pure. From that moment on he was always a front runner on my pursuit to find the perfect wedding photographer.
When I came to the time to interview my candidates, Marty was gracious to meet my fiance’ (now husband) and I for dinner. Marty brought along his sweet wife Onda as well. From this point on Marty and Onda were there for my fiance’ and I through all the planning stages! They even took time out of their hectic schedules to sit with us over coffee and help guide us through the millions of vendors to help us de-stress….a gracious gesture that was not included in their responsibilities!
The day of the wedding Marty and Onda were the calming winds in the storm! There seemed to be a million things to do at the last minute and stress was building but Marty and Onda have an amazing ability to provide a feeling of peace. Needless to say Marty did an amazing job not only photographing my wedding but keeping us all organized and focused on the joy of the moment.

Marty Moran with Bello Romance Photography is such an amazing photographer. We hired him as our wedding photographer for our June 2010 wedding. I can honestly say I have never met someone else who has loved their job as much as he does. He is incredibly nice and professional. He made sure that we got everything we wanted for our big day. We found him by asking our wedding venue’s owner who she recommended (great tip for brides: ask the vendors who they have enjoyed working with!) and she uses him for a lot of her own personal work so you know he has to be someone great to work with. He even drove up to Evanston, IL to take our engagement pictures where my husband and I met! His work is great, he was timely on everything and I was amazed by how he managed to get so many great pictures without being intrusive at all on our big day.
Romantic fairy tales do come true
The first day that we met, you were kind enough to treat me to coffee, and explained to me how you want to be more of a friend, and how a bride should feel relieved when you show up to the event, and not worrying about when you will arrive. Through the planning you offered your expertise regarding timeline and flow of the event.
Expertise that I took to heart and put to good use. You took time out of your crazy schedules to come have dinner with my family at our house, which was amazing. We bonded as friends and brothers and sisters in Christ.
Then, on our wedding day, you were truly a breath of fresh air when you arrived. You were timely and, you were right, I was relieved when you showed up. The day went so fast and was so beautiful, you captured all of that in the photographs that you took.

Without a doubt this isn’t just a job, its a passion
As several other people have done, I interviewed several photographers for my wedding. My husband and I instantly connected with Marty. He has a great spirit and you know without a doubt this isn’t just a job, its a passion. He loves to make his clients as happy as they can be. The most striking characteristic of Marty that we connected with was his charisma. We knew that throughout the day this guy was going to make jokes, make us laugh and feel at ease. Though I loved all of my vendors and don’t have a single complaint about any of them (shout out to Marie Frey, my wedding planner, for helping with that) I still stay in touch with Marty and follow his career via Facebook.
