Dear Brides,
Every day we wake up and go to work as your wedding photographers. We take care of brides just like you, and brides not like you at all. We schedule our meetings, edit your photographs, and hash out your timelines and shot lists. We strive to implement your dreams and ideas, making the experience everything you ever wanted. We get to know you and your family, refer you to our most trusted vendors, and spend an average of a year and a half perfecting your whole wedding experience.
We treasure each and every one of you, and are blessed to have been a part of your marriage experience.
We think you are so great because…
…he calls you funny names like “Sugar Bear” and “Bug”, and you LOVE it.
…you like “Alice and Wonderland” and he likes “Peter Pan”, and that is why you were truly meant to be.
…“boink”ing noses or giving butterfly kisses is what you do with your dad to show how much you love each other.
… a 16 person bridal party made up of your siblings alone doesn’t scare you one bit.
…talking about your future plans together, from kids to rocking chairs, puts such a blissful gleam in your eyes.
…your choice of footwear is always intriguing, from heels of all colors and sizes, to slippers and sandals, to even barefoot.
…the old, new, borrowed, and blue trinkets were carefully chosen for your day, and no, you are not superstitious.
…we get to always remember you with a smile on your face.
…the first dance you coordinated was a waltz to “Tale as Old as Time” for your fairytale-themed event.
…you bought your second photographer a bagel breakfast sandwich, which was a nice thing to do.
…you chose to do a tea ceremony during your wedding, instead of what everyone expected you to do.
…you took as much time in the careful planning of your wedding photography as I did
.…a seat and a meal during your reception was not a mandatory provision.
…when no one else knew how, you trusted me to bustle your dress and place the veil in your hair.
…you treated us like a part of your family, and that still makes me smile.
…the intense summer heat and the frigid winter weather meant nothing when you held your head high and smiled at my camera.
…you gave us such considerate gift baskets and care packages – we loved the chocolate by the way.
…when we organized all the timeline and details, you showed patience and willingness to make sure we understood.
Thank you so much for being such wonderful people and for making our job enjoyable.
Know that an email or a cup of coffee is always something we’d love to share with you again.
